Impact through books
Reading does us good and gives us pleasure.
And much more than that: research shows the many benefits of reading for living better.
But books do not change our lives on their own: they still need a place, at a time when reading is declining sharply.
Our work: impact through books.
For 6 years, we have been nurturing the desire to read, putting the effects of reading to work every day, and measuring them.
You are…
We offer a range of complementary activities for organisations, professionals and individuals.

What we do
A book, an intention, support.
For every need, a tailored experience.
Real needs, real applications
Better decisions, support for the people you serve, a renewed taste for reading: discover how we can help you.
Why work with us?
The people you serve, your challenges and your context guide the choice of texts, programmes and formats.
Reading, discussion, putting things into practice: you benefit from lively, positive support that gives everyone a place.
Together we define what you want to observe in practice and the right evaluation methods, with the KEI© (Key Emotion Indicator).
Cognitive science & impact assessment
Key Emotion Indicator: a proprietary method to qualify what a book makes you feel, and to turn it into data useful to libraries, publishers and readers, designed to boost discoverability.
Each work receives an index from 0 to 10 and a score for each of the six emotions. A book stops being just a genre: it becomes an experience you can search for, compare and recommend.
This data layer adds to your metadata without replacing it, and opens up new ways to build your selections and bring your collections to life.
The index draws both on automated analysis and on the emotional reviews left by readers. Neither all algorithm nor all editorial: the two complement each other.
It is living data. The index is never closed: every reading, every review refines it, and a collection indexed today will be more accurate a year from now.
With Libraries of Emotions, our public platform for discovering books by emotion, the method is being tested with partner libraries and offered in ten languages, with the support of Creative Europe.
Books are our reference field. The method applies to anything whose value lies in what we feel: film, music, professional training.
The scientific framework, the KEI© experiments and the results gathered will be presented with their sources, their scope and their limits. The support of Creative Europe will be identified separately from the research results.
Training & talks · managers first
AI speeds up production, but it does not train judgement.
That is why we offer professional training and talks to help your managers step back, exercise critical thinking and make sound decisions with calm.
Topics: cognitive biases, critical thinking, leadership and decision-making in the age of AI.
Topics: emotional intelligence, self-confidence, mental health and stress management.
Topics: empathy, communication and relationships within teams.

Thematic libraries
Composed book by book for the people who live there.
A workplace, a public library, a care or living space: we propose an installation and choose the books according to your intention and the people who will discover them.
We also compose and install personalised libraries for individuals who want to give meaning to their home and make reading a daily presence.
Our impact data
A library is not a decoration.
It is an intention.
Bibliotherapy programmes
A time to read, feel and share.
We design bibliotherapy workshops and cycles for charities, local authorities, libraries and care organisations. The choice of texts and the support meet a precise intention: encouraging expression, creating connection, supporting mental health or developing agency.

“We received very positive feedback from our managers after the talk, which shows how interested our people are in these topics.”
“This training, which combines the power of reading, and of writing too, with insights from neuroscience, has brought an exponential creative boost to my coaching sessions and support workshops. I highly recommend it to all book lovers and, more broadly, to all professionals who support others.”

Love for Livres is an innovation studio co-founded by Céline Mas and Omar Peraza Delgado.
From our earliest years, reading has been decisive in our lives. It has allowed us to fulfil ourselves, and we now want to share all its benefits with others.
Today, reading is under threat: bookshops are struggling, some publishers are disappearing, libraries are trying to grow their audiences. Other media are taking the place of books. Attention is fractured, reshaped by AI and technology. Readers do not always know what is available. Many of them no longer find their way.
To reverse the trend, we have brought together at Love for Livres skills in literature, cognitive science, technology and impact assessment, to make reading a useful, lively and accessible experience.
Céline Mas set out this conviction in one of her books, La lecture pour réussir sa vie professionnelle (Dunod, 2025).
Making people want to read opens up possibilities for everyone. Reading is a source of life and of projects. It supports learning and creativity. It counters social determinism.
It also means defending a society where we can slow down, take care of ourselves, understand other points of view and debate freely.
For us, keeping reading alive while it is weakening is a decisive challenge, at once human, educational, social and democratic.

Explore the dataWe define bibliotherapy as a method of support and of caring for oneself and others through books, drawing on the contributions of cognitive science to reveal the powers of fiction. It can take the form of a workshop, a cycle or one-to-one support.
No. The support can rely on short extracts and reading aloud. The choice of texts and the way sessions unfold are adapted to the audience, to their relationship with reading and to what they want.
We start from the situations you want to change: decision-making, communication, cooperation or managing emotions. A conversation helps us clarify the audience, the objectives and the format before we propose a programme.
Yes. For example emotions, leadership, care, peace, hospitality, biodiversity or the imagination: the theme is chosen according to your space and the people you serve. The selection is composed book by book, with a shared intention.
