A thematic library is a selection of books carefully composed for a place, an audience and an intention, presented by emotion or by theme, as a complete library or in modules built into your furniture.
Love for Livres composes it, makes it in France and installs it for you, in a company, a public library, a charity, a care setting or a home.
What it is
A library comes to life when books meet their readers. We choose each title for the people who use your space, then design a presentation that invites them to stop, browse and talk. This work of composition is at the heart of what we do.
Our libraries present books differently from genre or author: by emotion, our original model, or by the theme that matches what matters in the place, such as leadership, care, peace, the imagination, hospitality or ecology. Everyone can come in through a wish, a question or a subject that touches them.
The furniture matters too. It is made in France (or in Europe under our guidance), recyclable, in your colours, and it blends into any setting, from the reception area of a head office to the reading room of a public library.
Since 2020, we have composed and installed 35 of them.
The range
Each of our libraries has its own name, because a name expresses an intention.

How we compose it
We start from your space, the people who use it and what you want to offer them. We then choose 60 to 120 books, one by one, and arrange them by emotion or by theme. Our selections draw on our workshops, current reviews, our own reading and our database of 1,000 texts, and they adapt to each audience, from the children of a children's home to the executives of a head office.
We are in regular contact with publishers to identify recent titles that make sense in these new kinds of libraries.
L’Intégrale is a complete library, designed for your space.
The Kit brings together six modules to fit into an existing piece of furniture.
Both are modular and adapt to the available space, down to a format that sits on top of a cabinet. Their presentation can be customised to the chosen theme and your visual identity.
Delivery and installation arrangements are specified in your quote.
You can also choose an opening workshop: a shared reading session to discover the library and make people want to use it.
The selection can then be renewed as often as you wish.

The quote separates the furniture, its customisation and delivery, which are included, from the books, the selection of titles and travel, which are priced separately. The format, the size of the collection and the customisation make the difference from one place to another.

We compose your digital library for the people you serve: a selection organised by emotion, theme and life situation. Everyone can read the books by streaming on a computer, tablet or phone, from a link or a QR code.
With no furniture to install and no physical copies to order, it makes it possible to offer reading to teams spread over several sites, to employees working from home and to people who rarely come to your premises.
It can be offered on its own or alongside a physical library. A launch workshop can accompany its discovery. The selection is renewed according to the arrangements agreed with you.

In a charity, a public library, a care setting, a company or in your home, we compose a library for its readers and your wishes.
In a community centre, a children's home, a shelter or a municipal welcome centre, the library puts books within reach of the people you support. It can extend a bibliotherapy cycle by bringing together the books discovered in sessions and new titles to explore.
Most of our libraries have been installed in charities and local authorities, often at the end of a programme.

In your adult or children's areas, a Library of Emotions offers an additional way into books, starting from a feeling or a wish to read. It can feed your events, your reading clubs and your seasonal selections. The Kit fits into your existing shelving.
A Leadership, Assertiveness or Impact Library can extend the discussions of a training course and feed reflection day to day. Depending on your sector, we refine the theme together. In reception or in a break area, it invites teams to discover books and share their reading. For a works council, it offers access to reading in the workplace, complementing outings and other cultural activities. An opening workshop can accompany its discovery.

Since 2020, we have composed and installed 35 thematic libraries in charities, local authorities, public libraries, trade fairs, companies and private homes, in France, in Europe and in Tunisia. Nearly 35,000 people have had access to them.
They have found a place in community centres, children's homes, company head offices, a motorway service area, and public libraries in several countries, in Europe and in Tunisia, as part of the Libraries of Emotions project.

It is made in France, from high-quality cardboard that is sturdy and fully recyclable. It comes in the Intégrale format, made to measure and assembled on site, and in the Kit format, six modules that fit into an existing piece of furniture. Both are modular.
We can renew all or some of the titles, on request or on a set date. Several places ask us for a new selection every year, to keep pace with changing audiences, explore another theme or spark new reading.
