After a long absence, Louis decides to visit his family and announce his impending death. His mother, little sister, brother and sister-in-law are all gathered for his visit. But the reunion doesn't go smoothly: in the course of conversation, reproaches surface, old wounds are reopened, and conflict threatens the fragile family edifice at every turn.
