Founded in 1944 by Roland Laudenbach, Éditions de La Table Ronde remains faithful to the freedom of tone of its origins, marked by the publication of its famous magazine and the works of Jean Anouilh, Antoine Blondin, Michel Déon, Roger Nimier... Today, directed by Alice Déon, they welcome works of French ( Vermillon ) and foreign literature ( Quai Voltaire since 1997) and publish the pocket collection La Petite Vermillon .
