Born in 1969 in Paris, Hélène Frappat is a French author, translator and film critic. She studied at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, has a degree in philosophy and a doctorate in literature. She has translated numerous novels from English and Italian. She is the author of about fifteen novels and essays.
