Born in 1951 in Paris, Pierre Lemaitre is a French writer and screenwriter. Trained as a psychologist, he started writing in 2006 with the novel Travail soigné, which won the Cognac Prize. He won the Goncourt Prize in 2013 for Au revoir là-haut, adapted in 2017 into a film by Albert Dupontel. He is the author of numerous novels and thrillers, and has won several prestigious literary awards. |
